The challenge:
Gryd is a start up in Pennsylvania, US that came to us with an idea of setting up a cloud based desktop and mobile app that gave employees visibility to their internal career options. They required a Brand Identity with all the marketing collateral to go to market with, a Mobile Application that delivered their idea and a Website to promote themselves alongside a magazine print campaign which could be used as a Social Media Campaign.

The insight:
We loved the idea of being involved with something so practical. Everyone we know, including us, when we were employed, always wants to understand how we can progress within the company to develop our careers, before looking elsewhere, but this information is always sparse or unavailable.

The idea:
Starting with the brand identity we kept it simple, especially with the name Gryd, by choosing to develop the split in the alphabet Y of the name, to create a different path, which was what the app was all about – pathways and opportunities. We developed a grid style network path graphic that the app was based on and took that through all the communication that followed to create a definite identity for the brand across all its communication.
